Custom Projects

Located in Lavon, Texas, Texas Athletics 101 is owned by Frank LoNigro.  This project includes custom shell netting, turf, windscreens, accessories, and installation hardware.

The custom shell features #42 Nylon walls and a #60 Nylon ceiling, making this a high grade commercial system!  The shell is 70’ L x 28’ W, creating (2) 14’ W tunnels long enough to accommodate the full 60’6” pitching distance!  

We went with our 48 oz Unpadded AgiliTurf for this project, which is great for baseball/softball work and agility training!  Even without padding, this turf is comfortable to train on and provides a realistic bounce for infield work!

Our Pro Grade Windscreens have multiple purposes in this project as they protect his walls, serve as a batter’s eye,  and help separate the training area from the rest of his shop space!  This allowed him to maximize his training space without taking up room in his shop as he could put the netting only 1’ off the walls!

Frank ordered a Pro 5’ x 7’ L-Screen with Padding to safely throw batting practice to hitters both overhand and underhand!  This screen is built to last years to come with a 2” powder coated steel frame and 1.5” thick vinyl padding!

Lastly, we supplied installation hardware and walked him through the install process!  This saved Frank thousands of dollars and helped make his system look very professional!
