Southern Sports Indoor Project
Located in Starkville, Mississippi, Southern Sports Indoor is operated by local real estate mogul Jason Ingram. This project included custom shell netting, windscreens, turf, rubber flooring, and accessories.
The custom shell features #42 Nylon side walls and a #60 Nylon ceiling, making this a high grade commercial system! The custom shell includes (3) 58’ L tunnels and (1) 63’ L tunnel, which allows the customer to offer a tunnel to accommodate full 60’6” pitching distance and also keep a 5’ walking path for players to easily enter all tunnels!
We went with our 48 oz Unpadded AgiliTurf for this project, which allows the space to be used both for sports and agility training! This turf selection kept the customer under budget, while maintaining high quality for longevity and performance.
In the strength/plyo room, we decided on ¼” thick black rubber flooring that is durable enough for med ball slams and light weights! The facility transitions from turf to rubber seamlessly for a professional look as players enter the workout space.
Lastly, Jason ordered a number of accessories from us including Stance Mats, L-Screens, Vinyl Backdrops, Baseballs/Softballs, and Ball Carts!
